"one of the cardinal points has been reached"
after all the sweat and piss drama, i have arrived at the easternmost point in Bali, Seraya. it’s so green, and it’s hot, but not the kind of hot you feel in a big city. that’s because there’s no pollution getting mixed up in the air up here. everywhere i look, it’s just nonstop bangers of nature. it’s putting into perspective how far the island of Lombok is compared to the western side with Java. you can clearly see the island of Java from the dock in Bali, but there’s no sign there’s even an island nearby when you look east from Seraya. one of the most effortful trips to date. i even got a lunch box prepared because i didn’t think there would be a food stall there. i was wrong. there’s an entire minimarket up here. just an amazing experience overall.
