"sometimes, impulsive decision is necessary"
on the northeastern side of Bali lies the largest lake on the island, lake Batur. this is the third lake i’ve mentioned across all of my notes so far, and also the largest compared to the other three. it was just a casual visit to Kintamani, where the lake is located, but i had never actually gone down to see the lake this close before. the lake sits far downhill, accessible only by smaller or medium-sized vehicles, and for some reason i never tried going there until now. and just as i expected, it’s beautiful. my first reaction when seeing this view was, “i want to set up camp here” but unfortunately, that’s not really something you can do in this area. there are tourist spots nearby for camping or glamping, but where’s the fun in that?
