"please don't drink and drive"
found a really nice resting spot right on the border between Klungkung and Karangasem. it has a bunch of snacks, instant cup noodles, and also a surprisingly large selection of alcoholic drinks. honestly an S-tier rest area, and it’s not even crowded at all. most of the people i saw there were locals buying groceries. it has a neat sitting area with an amazing view of a hill that acts as a natural border between the regencies. there were also a couple of lovely dogs wandering around, which i’m assuming were strays. and because it’s located at a higher altitude, the whole place has really chill vibes. i’d definitely recommend stopping by if you happen to pass through this area, especially if you’re heading south after visiting Kintamani or vice versa.
