"these damn monkeys' man, they’re sneaky!"
i thought i was just finding a simple rest area, but this place turned out to be a parking lot for people visiting Sang Hyang Ambu temple. i had never visited or even known about this temple before. i just stumbled upon it. i used to be a religious person once, but lately it’s been hard not to notice all the unsettling things that feel cruel and unfair within many religious beliefs. i’m not an atheist by the way, just wanted to point that out. i just don’t think God can be the answer to everything in the world or to how we behave as human beings. here’s a simple tip for life, be kind. you don’t need religion to be a kind person. also, there’s a monkey here that seems to constantly give trouble to the food stall owners by trying to sneak food whenever it gets the chance.
